Microsoft Access - Intermediate

Introduction

This course is intended for existing users of Access who wish to gain a better understanding of database design. The course covers importing data, table relationships, action queries, forms and sub-forms, and reports which group and subtotal data. All courses are highly interactive and we encourage all delegates to join in, to enhance their own learning process.

Course Aims

To provide delegates with a knowledge of how to manipulate data within a database with particular emphasis on data entry extraction and the use of reports and how to arrange the structure of a relational Database.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Import data into Access
  • Create relationships between tables
  • Use action queries to change database data
  • Create sub forms and create reports which group and subtotal data
  • Pre-requisites
  • We recommend that all those who attend are able to:
  • Use Access at an introductory level

Working with Forms

  • Editing forms
