Conflict Resolution

Introduction

The course provides individual and team skills to participants involved in the management of conflict, within their personal and professional work environments. Focusing on practical conflict resolution models participants are taught how to communicate in stressful situations, remain aware of their personal safety and of others, understand and utilise the Law to good effect and, if necessary, apply defensive control skills.

Course Aim

To provide individual and team strategic skills in dealing with potential and actual aggression, conflict and violence in the workplace

Pre requisites

The course is suitable for any organisation or individual in which staff deal, or are expected to deal with, potentially confrontational or violent situations. Courses can be set to incorporate specific organisational policies, individual ability or professional standing.
